Who We Are
Our History
NC Allies of Gender-Affirming Care was founded in 2023 in Greenville, NC by community members who recognize the need to address the harmful rhetoric that has been used to weaponize health care for LGBT people. We are a burgeoning, activated, energized, nonprofit, serving hundreds of individuals in North Carolina and serving as a role model for organizations with similar goals.
Our Team
Our team is made up of diverse individuals who are drawn to the cause of protecting transgender people and all people's access to the health care they need. We believe that health care is a right. We believe in the liberation of transgender people from oppressive politicization, violence, and social negligence.
Support
We proudly support local organizations such as EqualityNC with donations and collaborations. Furthermore, we are allies of all NC organizations that pursue protections of LGBT people's access to health care.
